About
UX Designer

Only recently have my parents dumped (I mean return), all my school art projects I had been storing in their loft. Looking through my old projects it reminded me how much I loved being pen to paper and making something real. My passion art and design started from a young age and I have Mr Edwards to thank for that, "Thanks sir!"
My passion continued throughout my academic career leading to my degree is Design and Art Direction.
I started my career as a graphic designer working across Health Insurance, Pharmaceuticals and Banking. In my last role, I ran a design studio delivering creative production for internal, client communication and advertising across print and digital. I fully understand the design process from taking briefs, initial concepts to delivering pitching winning concepts and final executions.
My love for getting the brief right has led me to specialise in UX design. After taking some time off to raise a family I decided to retrain in user experience. I have completed my UX Design course with the UX Design Institute and I feel fully armed to take on any new projects. I appreciate the need to understand people, have empathy towards their challenges and help them find solutions through intuitive design and insightful interaction. I feel my previous design experience make me a better UX Designer as I can also empathise with UI Designer and Developers.
